EducationI grew up in Browns Valley, MN and attended K-8th grade here. I then went to Sisseton High School. After graduating I attended the Minnesota State University of Moorhead where I majored in Elementary Inclusive Education and minored in Special Education. While in college I enjoyed playing rugby. After graduating I accepted my first teaching job in Sisseton, SD. I taught 5th grade there for two years. In 2016 I was hired at the Browns Valley School, and became the 4th grade teacher for one year. This year I was given the opportunity to follow my students on their journey to middle school.
