Hello Students and Families,

 

As the school counselor, part of my time is spent in classrooms where I teach the MindUp and Second Step programs. These curriculums help improve students' social-emotional learning, think about their values, and make good choices. I also meet individually with students for many different reasons including: self-esteem, anxiety, friendship issues, and grief, along with many others. What students choose to share with me is confidential, with the exception of situations where they or someone else is getting hurt or at-risk of getting hurt, or they give me permission to share with a certain person. Some students only meet with me a few times, while others are on my schedule more regularly. If you have any questions or want me to meet with your child, please contact me or the office.
