South Dakota Testing Sites**The Browns Valley School has three types of free covid testing available: Vault Saliva kits can be used by students or staff whether or not the individual is symptomatic. The kit is taken home, a saliva sample collected while connected to a representative on Zoom, and then returned to the school to be shipped. Results are available to you via email 48-72 hours after the kit is received at the lab. The school also has BinaxNOW rapid test kits available to symptomatic students. These are a nasal swabs administered by a parent. Results are available in 15-20 minutes. The BinaxNOW rapid kit comes with two tests meant to be given 24-48 hours apart. The third option is Veritor at-home nasal swab which is also an antigen test. Directions for this test can be found below. If you need a covid testing kit, please call the school office.
